In the increasing competition era, developing yourself at best became challenging. And then all you can do is to focus more on Your Skills.

Your Skills can include your personal and character traits, communication skills and specifically your career attributes and achievements.
Some important skills are -
1. Social Skills - A social skill is any competence facilitating interaction and communication with others where social rules and relations are created, communicated, and changed in verbal and nonverbal ways. The process of learning these skills is called socialization.
2. Problem Solving - Problem-solving gives us a mechanism for identifying things, figuring out why they are broken and determining a course of action to fix them.
3. Emotional intelligence - Emotional intelligence (otherwise known as emotional quotient or EQ) is the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.
4. Personality Development - Personal development covers activities that improve awareness and identity, develop talents and potential, build human capital and facilitate employability, enhance the quality of life and contribute to the realization of dreams and aspirations.
5. Interpersonal skills - Interpersonal skills are the skills we use every day when we communicate and interact with other people, both individually and in groups. They include a wide range of skills, but particularly communication skills such as listening and effective speaking.
6. Time management - Think of how precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savoured. Time is measured by the hours, days, years and so on. Time helps us to make a good habit of organizing and structuring our daily activities.

And so on.
Skills are never mandatory but they add weightage to your profile and make it stronger. It's important how you express yourself and how you influence others. But to influence people you've to explore yourself better. So here I came with some of the useful apps to develop your skills and knowledge. These apps cost nothing and you can explore your knowledge better.
1. LinkedIn - LinkedIn is a social network that focuses on professional networking and career development. You can use this for better experiences.
2. EdX - EdX offers numerous courses in the humanities and the natural sciences. The knowledge you get from online courses is reliable. It is especially true for courses offered by well-known schools. I would definitely advise to take them if you wanna do pre-university preparation or just figure out if the certain subject is your passion.
3. Coursera - Coursera focuses more on professional training, for example, computer science and business degrees.
4. Udemy - My personal recommendation, this app is useful for all types of courses. You can access the free courses for your better experience.
I hope it helped you guys. Stay updated.
